May Update

There has been some radio silence with you since our Kickstarter has been funded, but we have been hard at work!
What have we been up to?
If you haven’t heard the sad news yet, Floor will be leaving us. At the moment doing AHP is too much to combine with her job. We are gonna miss her! Read about it here.
I (Liz) have been hard at work fiddling with mechanics, polishing up powers, and finding typos I never knew existed. Mechanics-wise, I have had a huge internal debate (that has been raging for around a year now) about whether or not we should really be using 1d20 or if we should use 2d10. The benefit to rolling 2d10 is that you roll ‘normal’ more often. Where at with 1d20 there is more chance for epic success (critting) and epic failure (botching). The website has been updated and actually there is very little change from how it looked before. The biggest change is that it is much more user friendly for our staff so that is a huge plus! Also, we’ll be setting up a web store for people who want to pre-order more books, decks, and GM screens.
Finally, Liz has been having meetings with all the artists and writers about the stuff they are going to make for the book. It is /amazing/. While I (Liz) realize this is me being a horrible tease I promise to have some pictures for you in the next update :D.
Production
We have some good news and some depends-on-how-you-feel news regarding the GM screens. The good news is that we found a great new supplier that can make our GM screens for us out of hard-board for the same price as out old supplier who could only do a thick carton! This means that they will be beautiful, glossy, and the same quality as a board game board. Also, what is great about this supplier is that they have come recommended from other successful Kickstarters so we know they deliver on time and they make a high quality product.
The depends-on-how-you-feel-news is the fact that the supplier needs a minimum order of 500 pcs, this means that we will have GM screens left over and we will sell them. Why you might find this lame is because – then the GM screens will not be KS exclusive as we had said. However, everyone is getting a way better product. If this really bothers you, please let us know :).
